Qigong is an holistic system of coordinated body postures/ movements, breathing, and meditation used to promote health and spirituality. With its roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, and martial arts, Qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate an balance Qi, "life energy."

About the Instructor
Donna Bruno is teaching two groups at the Zen Wellness Studio in Sun City West as part of a study as to the benefits of Medical Qigong in conjunction with Dartmouth Medical College. She is a certified instructor , and she is also a Reiki Master.
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and tennis shoes or sneakers. It would also be a good idea to bring water, since we do live in the desert.
